Pharmacy Technician - Star City, IN

This opportunity seeks Indiana Licensed Pharmacy Technicians to support a community hospital retail pharmacy with the day-to-day operations of order entry and customer service. The role requires retail pharmacy experience and involves using the PioneerRx order entry system (preferred). Candidates must be local to the area and available for full-time daytime hours.

Location:

• Star City, IN (with potential to cover sister site in Francesville, IN once trained)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter medication orders using PioneerRx software
• Ring up customers and provide friendly, efficient service
• Support pharmacy operations in a retail setting
• Potentially provide coverage at a sister facility after training

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician license
• Prior retail pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with PioneerRx preferred
• PTCB certification required for coverage at sister facility
• Local candidates only (no travel or relocation required)
• Ability to complete 3 days of orientation/training prior to start

Work Environment & Dress Code:

• Small pharmacy team with a Pharmacy Manager, one pharmacist, and two technicians
• Business casual attire required

This contract position begins June 29th and will continue until a permanent employee is hired.
