Pharmacy Technician | Star City, Indiana

Join a community-focused pharmacy team as a licensed Pharmacy Technician supporting retail operations with order entry and customer service. This contract role provides an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment at a well-established pharmacy facility.

Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate order entry using PioneerRx (experience preferred)
• Ring up customers and assist with retail pharmacy transactions
• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting
• Participate in a 3-day training/orientation prior to starting
• Potentially cover shifts at a sister facility after training, requiring PTCB certification
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy manager and pharmacist to maintain smooth pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must hold a valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license
• Retail pharmacy experience required, preferably with PioneerRx software
• PTCB certification required for coverage at sister facility
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Local candidates only due to onsite training and coverage requirements

Location and Schedule:

• Position based in Star City, IN at a community hospital retail pharmacy
• Regular hours: Monday-Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (40 hours per week)
• Weekend coverage: every other Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm
• Business casual dress code
