Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Summerville, Georgia

This per diem opportunity is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations in Rome, GA. The technician will play a key role in assisting pharmacists with dispensing prescribed medications efficiently and providing excellent customer care.

Schedule:

• Tuesday, July 21, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours)
• Wednesday, July 22, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours)
• Thursday, July 23, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours)
• Friday, July 24, 2026 | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (9 hours)

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications prescribed by physicians and other authorized health practitioners
• Provide accurate information to customers regarding medication use and safety
• Maintain a high level of customer service to ensure a positive pharmacy experience

Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia State Pharmacy Technician License is required
• Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care settings is highly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
