Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Sun Prairie, Wisconsin

A Per Diem Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available in an independent, specialty retail, and long-term care (LTC) environment. This role is ideal for a licensed Pharmacy Technician looking to bring their expertise to a dynamic setting with a focus on quality patient care.

Location:

• Sun Prairie, WI

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of the pharmacist.
• Assist with inventory management, ensuring proper stock levels and medication expiration tracking.
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and guiding patients regarding their prescriptions.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to support specialty retail and LTC pharmacy services.
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Proven pharmacy technician experience.
• Experience in retail pharmacy and/or long-term care settings is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
