Travel Pharmacy Technician - Tahoe City, California

An exciting opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient pharmacy operations at a 100-bed hospital located in South Lake Tahoe, CA. This travel position offers a 4-day, 10-hour shift schedule, providing a balanced workweek. The role involves working with advanced pharmacy systems such as EPIC and Pyxis to ensure accurate and efficient medication distribution and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient pharmacy technician duties, supporting medication preparation and distribution.
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems to manage medication orders and inventory.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare team members to maintain patient safety and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license.
• Approximately 1 year of experience in a pharmacy technician role, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work full time with availability for a consistent 4-day work schedule.
• Familiarity with inpatient pharmacy operations and healthcare software systems advantageous.
