Join a dynamic mail order pharmacy team in Tempe, AZ, seeking three certified Pharmacy Technicians to support prescription processing and medication dispensing. This 13-week contract opportunity, with a possibility to transition to permanent, demands a dependable and detail-oriented professional to ensure smooth daily operations from start to finish.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
  • No weekend shifts required
  • Flexible availability within these shift windows is essential

Responsibilities:

  • Enter new prescriptions, refills, and patient data accurately into the order management system
  • Verify prescription details to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Count, dispense, and label medications according to pharmacy guidelines
  • Prepare and coordinate shipments, including printing labels, sorting packages, and managing courier schedules to meet service level agreements
  • Maintain a clean and safe pharmacy environment following Arizona Board of Pharmacy policies

Qualifications and Required Skills:

  • Current Arizona pharmacy technician license and national certification
  • Proven reliability with strong attendance and punctuality
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
