This opportunity is for a Pharmacy Technician role based in Tempe, AZ. The position starts on September 8th and is a 13-week contract with potential for conversion to a permanent role. The schedule requires flexibility to work either 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include:

  • Entering data for new prescriptions, refills, and patient information while verifying accuracy against the order management system.
  • Accurately counting, dispensing, and labeling medications in compliance with standards.
  • Preparing shipments for mailing, which involves printing and affixing shipping labels, sorting packages by courier, and coordinating timely shipments to meet service level agreements.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy environment by adhering to policies and Arizona Board of Pharmacy regulations.

Desired qualifications and attributes:

  • Valid Arizona pharmacy technician license and national certification.
