Pharmacy Technician in Three Rivers, MI

This opportunity is ideal for a Pharmacy Technician ready to contribute their skills in a retail pharmacy environment. The role offers a contract to hire arrangement, providing a pathway to permanent employment.

Location: Three Rivers, MI
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times between 7:30 AM and 11:30 AM (7:30am, 8am, 9:30am, 11:30am)
• Closed Fridays at 6 PM
• No weekends initially, with potential for future weekend shifts

Responsibilities:

• Accurately assist in preparing and dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare providers
• Manage inventory and assist with maintaining pharmacy records in compliance with regulations
• Utilize pharmacy computer systems to process prescriptions and maintain documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail setting
• Michigan Pharmacy Technician License
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX computer system preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
• Ability to work varying start times and adapt to schedule changes
