Pharmacy Technician - Tijeras, New Mexico

This opportunity is for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support a busy pharmacy site in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidates will be responsible for accurately distributing prescribed medications, providing clear and professional information to customers, and maintaining a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Albuquerque, NM
Job Type: Contract
Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (8.5 hours)
• Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (8.5 hours)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare practitioners
• Assist customers by providing medication information and usage guidance
• Maintain excellent customer service and support throughout the medication distribution process
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid New Mexico Pharmacy Technician License required
• Previous experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is highly preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Commitment to accuracy and patient safety
