Travel Pharmacy Technician - Troy, NY

A Travel Pharmacy Technician opportunity is available to work within a cancer center infusion pharmacy setting in the Albany, NY area. This assignment is ideal for candidates with a strong background in chemotherapy and IV admixture. The position offers an engaging role in a specialized pharmacy environment supporting oncology patients.

Location:

• Albany, NY area (assignment based in multiple oncology network pharmacies within approximately 20 miles of each other)
• Reliable transportation is necessary due to float requirements between three pharmacies

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Day shifts, approximately 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and perform admixture of chemotherapy medications with precision and care
• Support pharmacy operations within the oncology network, ensuring medication safety and accuracy
• Float between three pharmacy locations as assigned, maintaining communication and coordination across sites

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Demonstrated experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably with chemo/IV admixture expertise
• PTCB certification highly preferred; New York state pharmacy license is not required for this position
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety in a high-acuity oncology infusion setting
• Ability to effectively manage workflow across multiple pharmacy locations with reliable transportation
