Responsibilities:

  • Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding to prepare medications accurately and safely.
  • Restock Pyxis medication dispensing systems ensuring availability on nursing units.
  • Deliver medications to floors promptly to maintain efficient workflow.
  • Manage incoming pharmacy calls, addressing inquiries from healthcare staff.
  • Support the pharmacy team in daily operational tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Valid New York State Pharmacy Technician license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy technician experience.
  • Strong knowledge of sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures.
  • Ability to work variable days and afternoon shifts, with a schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week.
  • Effective communication skills and attention to detail.

Schedule:

  • Variable days/afternoons
  • 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
