Pharmacy Technician in Trumansburg, NY

A position is available for a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support an Upstate NY healthcare facility for a 13-week contract. This role focuses on inpatient pharmacy operations and requires a dedicated professional ready for an ASAP start.

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoon shifts
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts

Location: Trumansburg, NY

Responsibilities include:

• Performing sterile and non-sterile compounding following established protocols
• Restocking automated medication dispensing systems (Pyxis)
• Delivering medications to various patient care floors efficiently and accurately
• Managing incoming calls to the pharmacy and providing support as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid New York State Pharmacy Technician license
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting
• Strong understanding of sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
