Pharmacy Technicians are needed for hospital pharmacy operations in Tularosa, NM. This contract role offers opportunities to work in a dynamic inpatient pharmacy setting supporting medication preparation and distribution.
Hourly pay ranges depending on your specific skills and certifications:
- Pharmacy Technician: $19 - $22
- Pharmacy Technician with IV Certification: $20 - $23
- Pharmacy Technician with Chemotherapy Experience: $23 - $25
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM (rotating schedule, working every third weekend)
Location:
Facility located near Tularosa, NM serving southeastern New Mexico patients, providing comprehensive inpatient pharmaceutical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and dispense medications under the supervision of licensed pharmacists
- Assist with preparing IV admixtures and chemotherapy medications if certified
- Maintain inventory and proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
- Support pharmacy team with daily operations in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license or certification
- IV certification and chemotherapy experience highly preferred but not required
