Key Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately.
• Maintain detailed patient records, including medication profiles and histories.
• Prepare medications in various dosage forms, such as pills and ointments, following prescription instructions.
• Verify prescription information for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and medication inquiries.
• Process medication orders adhering to safety protocols and compliance standards.
• Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Handle administrative tasks including billing, insurance claims, and patient file management.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Desired Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician, including retail pharmacy environments.
• Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician License.
• Familiarity with NextGen order entry system is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
