Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Vacaville, CA

A reliable Pharmacy Technician is needed promptly to join a per diem pharmacy team serving multiple retail locations in the greater Sacramento area, including sites near Lodi and Stockton. This role offers consistent work with a flexible schedule, supporting high-volume retail pharmacies with opportunities for frequent shifts.

Location:

• Vacaville, CA, with coverage across greater Sacramento and nearby areas

Schedule/Hours:

• Days, evenings, and weekends
• Typically 3-4 shifts per week, with additional availability welcomed

Responsibilities:

• Perform essential retail pharmacy functions such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, dispensing medications, cash register operation, inventory management, and processing takebacks
• Collaborate effectively within a team to ensure efficient pharmacy operations
• Participate in client-provided training to maintain high standards and compliance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of high-volume retail pharmacy technician experience; candidates with less than one year will not be considered
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Valid California pharmacy technician license required; PTCB certification preferred
• Ability to reliably commute or relocate as needed; mileage reimbursement provided for travel beyond 30 miles from home to site
