Seeking experienced, reliable pharmacy technicians to join a per diem team supporting multiple retail pharmacy locations in the greater Sacramento area, including Lodi and Stockton. This opportunity offers consistent weekly shifts, working a minimum of 3-4 days per week, with additional days available for those interested.

Location:

  • Greater Sacramento area, with possible assignments in Lodi and Stockton

Schedule/Hours:

  • Days, evenings, weekends
  • Minimum 3-4 days per week, with flexibility for more shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions
  • Operate cash registers, manage inventory and handle takebacks
  • Collaborate effectively with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service
  • Participate in a brief training program provided upon hire

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of high-volume retail pharmacy technician experience (candidates with less than one year will not be considered)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills essential
  • Valid California pharmacy technician license required; PTCB certification is a plus
  • Ability to travel within a 30-mile radius of home; mileage reimbursement provided for greater distances
