Per Diem Pharmacy Tech - Vallejo, California

Reliable Per Diem Pharmacy Technician opportunity in Vallejo, CA, supporting multiple sites throughout the greater Sacramento area, including Lodi and Stockton.

This role offers consistent weekly hours, with technicians typically working 3-4 days per week, and opportunities for additional shifts based on availability. Shifts include days, evenings, and weekends, making it ideal for candidates seeking flexible schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform standard retail pharmacy tasks such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, medication filling and dispensing
• Operate cash register and manage inventory, including returns and takebacks
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy team members to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service
• Participate in client-provided training sessions to ensure compliance with procedures and quality standards

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of high-volume retail pharmacy technician experience (candidates with less than 1 year will not be considered)
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Current California Pharmacy Technician license; PTCB certification preferred
• Able to provide an updated resume, skills checklist, and a retail supervisor reference

Additional Information:

• Mileage reimbursement offered for travel over 30 miles one-way
• Start date: ASAP
