Pharmacy Technician – Per Diem | Vallejo, CA (Greater Sacramento Area & Surrounding Locations)

Seeking reliable and experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join a busy retail pharmacy team on a per diem basis. This opportunity offers consistent work with flexible scheduling, supporting a high-volume pharmacy environment serving multiple locations across the greater Sacramento area, including potential assignments in Lodi and Stockton.

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions
• Operate the cash register, manage inventory, and handle medication takebacks
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth operations in a fast-paced setting
• Attend client-provided training sessions to stay updated on procedures and protocols

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume retail pharmacy setting; candidates with less than 1 year will not be considered
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to engage with staff and customers
• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license; Certification (PTCB) preferred if applicable
• Ability to commit to working at least 3-4 days per week, with additional days possible depending on availability and demand

Location:

• Primarily based in Vallejo, CA with assignments covering the greater Sacramento area, flexibility to travel to nearby locations may be required
• Mileage reimbursement offered for travel exceeding 30 miles from home to assigned worksite

Per Diem Schedule:

• Days, evenings, and weekends shifts available; flexible based on technician availability and pharmacy needs
