Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Vallejo, California

A pharmacy technician position is available on a per diem basis, offering an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic retail environment servicing multiple sites across the greater Sacramento area, including Vallejo, Lodi, and Stockton.

This role requires a reliable technician who can commit to working at least 3-4 days per week, with additional days available based on candidate availability. The position involves supporting a high-volume retail pharmacy team, ensuring seamless daily operations and contributing to a consistent week-in, week-out revenue stream.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform typical retail pharmacy technician duties such as answering phones, data entry, label printing, filling and dispensing prescriptions.
• Manage cash register operations and conduct inventory control and takebacks.
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment, maintaining strong communication with colleagues and supervisors.
• Participate in a brief training program provided by the client before starting assignments.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in high-volume retail pharmacy settings is mandatory.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.
• Current California pharmacy technician license and certification (PTCB if applicable).
• Ability to travel to various locations within the Sacramento area, with mileage reimbursement for commutes exceeding 30 miles.
• Must provide an updated resume, skills checklist, one retail supervisor reference, and copies of required licenses and certifications.

Schedule:

• Days, evenings, and weekend shifts available.
