Pharmacy Technician - Van Nuys, California

Pharmacy Technician opportunity in a closed-door/mail order pharmacy setting, located in Santa Clarita, CA. This contract position offers approximately 13+ weeks of work, with the possibility to transition to a permanent role. New graduates and retail pharmacy technicians are encouraged to apply.

Schedule includes a part-time commitment of 24 to 32 hours per week, with shifts available from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM, providing flexibility to fit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately filling and preparing medications for shipment to patients
• Maintaining compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory standards
• Collaborating with pharmacy staff to ensure timely medication delivery
• Handling inventory and documentation related to prescription orders

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician certification or relevant training
• Familiarity with retail or mail order pharmacy operations is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills
