Two Pharmacy Technician positions are available at a well-established medical center serving as the county hospital in Ventura, CA. These roles offer an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Assist pharmacists in managing inventory and maintaining medication storage areas
  • Review and process prescription orders ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients and healthcare staff with medication-related inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification and licensure
  • Experience working in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of medication names, dosages, and pharmacy procedures
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
  • Effective communication skills and a commitment to patient safety
