This opportunity seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support a busy 250-bed inpatient facility. The role offers a long-term contract with an ASAP start in Ventura, CA. The position involves a variable schedule covering days and afternoons, including every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform inpatient pharmacy duties, including sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Restock automated medication dispensing systems (Pyxis units).
• Respond to incoming calls to the pharmacy, assisting healthcare providers and staff.
• Support medication preparation and distribution within the hospital setting.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license required.
• New graduates with some prior training, especially in intravenous (IV) medication preparation, are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks such as compounding and inventory restocking.

• Variable days and afternoons.
