Pharmacy Technician - Vermilion, OH

This opportunity is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support an inpatient hospital pharmacy department. The role involves working a consistent 7 on, 7 off night shift schedule from 9 PM to 7 AM, primarily Thursday through Thursday, over a 13-week contract with the potential for direct hire.

Key responsibilities include order entry using Meditech, managing automated medication dispensing systems such as Pyxis, and performing sterile compounding to ensure the safe preparation of medications. This position requires a strong background in inpatient pharmacy settings to effectively contribute to patient care and medication management.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Ohio Pharmacy Technician License
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Proven experience in inpatient pharmacy operations
• Experience with sterile compounding procedures
• Familiarity with Pyxis automated medication systems
