Seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity in a retail pharmacy setting located in Vicksburg, MI. This role offers a dynamic schedule with rotating start times, ideal for candidates with strong retail pharmacy skills who are licensed in Michigan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately prepare and dispense medications following prescriptions and regulatory guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service and assist patients with inquiries
- Maintain proper inventory levels and manage stock within the pharmacy
- Utilize the Pioneer RX computer system to process prescriptions and maintain patient profiles
- Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient pharmacy operations
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required
- Proven pharmacy technician experience, preferably in retail environments
- Familiarity with Pioneer RX is highly beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday shifts of 8.5 hours
- Rotating start times at 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:30 AM
- Pharmacy closes at 6:00 PM on Fridays
- Initially no weekends, though weekend shifts may be introduced later
