Pharmacy Technician - Vicksburg, MI

A retail pharmacy technician role is available with an engaging schedule and a temp-to-hire opportunity. This position offers consistent daytime hours Monday through Friday, with rotating start times between 7:30 AM and 11:30 AM. The pharmacy operates with Pioneer RX computer systems and maintains a supportive retail environment.

Location: Vicksburg, MI

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times: 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 9:30 AM, 11:30 AM
• Fridays close at 6:00 PM
• Initially, no weekend shifts (weekend hours may apply in the future)

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications following prescriptions
• Utilize Pioneer RX software for processing prescriptions and managing inventory
• Provide excellent customer service and assist patients with their pharmaceutical needs
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including safety and privacy standards
• Support the retail pharmacy team in daily operations and workflow

Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician License required
• Previous pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a retail setting
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX software is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
