An immediate opportunity is available for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to support a busy Long-Term Care and Intellectual Developmental Disorder pharmacy recently transitioning to a new software system. This fast-paced role requires dedication and flexibility to help the team catch up on high-volume production.
Location:
- Walpole, MA
Employment Type:
- Contract position, approximately 4 to 6 weeks until workflow stabilizes
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (flexible opening and closing shifts)
- Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (availability desirable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry with precision and speed to maintain accurate records
- Manage fulfillment and production tasks to keep up with volume demands
- Pack and prepare medication totes efficiently to support distribution
- Adapt to evolving workflows following a recent software upgrade
Qualifications and Experience:
- Must hold an active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license
- Prior experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) preferred; retail pharmacy background considered
- Comfortable working in a high-volume setting with quick turnaround expectations
- Ability to be flexible with scheduling including weekend coverage
Additional Details:
- Familiarity with Frameworks software is a plus as the site has recently converted to this system
