Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately fill and deliver medications to patient units.
- Utilize the HCS order entry system and Omnicell automation technology; training provided.
- Participate in a 2-3 day training and orientation program before starting.
- Maintain compliance with facility dress code and professional standards.
- Adapt to coverage needs, including 6am-4pm shifts with potential for extended hours and some weekend coverage.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Illinois Pharmacy Technician license is required.
- Ability to walk up to 10,000 steps per day, supporting active medication delivery.
- Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems.
- Local candidates preferred due to immediate start and ongoing shift coverage.
- Adherence to dress code: scrubs (black/gray) or business casual; closed-toed shoes; natural hair colors; professional appearance without jeans or inappropriate accessories.
Schedule/Hours:
- Approximately 2-3 shifts weekly through July.
- Coverage primarily 6am to 4pm, with possible extended days.
- Weekend shifts may be required.
