Per Diem Pharmacy Technician | Webster, New York

Provide essential support as a Pharmacy Technician during a short-term coverage assignment in Webster, NY. This role involves direct interaction with patients and pharmacists, ensuring accurate processing and dispensing of prescriptions while maintaining inventory and delivering exceptional customer service.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00am – 5:00pm (shift hours may extend to 9:00am – 7:00pm)
  Assignment Term: March 17, 2026 – April 3, 2026

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system accurately and efficiently.
• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescriptions safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Manage and replenish over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, addressing questions and concerns effectively.
• Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues and facilitate smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent pharmacy technician experience.
• Experience in retail pharmacy settings is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with 340B pharmacy programs is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
