Pharmacy Technician | West Chester, Ohio

Join a pharmacy team as a full-time Retail Pharmacy Technician supporting daily operations in West Chester, Ohio. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers first-shift hours in a community-focused environment using Pioneer Rx pharmacy software.

Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
• Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in serving patients and maintaining smooth pharmacy workflow.
• Greet customers and respond to their inquiries professionally.
• Receive and verify prescription validity and insurance information.
• Process prescriptions electronically ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Handle insurance claim issues and work to resolve any rejections.
• Select, measure, and prepare medication doses accurately.
• Sort, stock, and label medications while monitoring inventory levels.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio.
• Experience in retail or a similar pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx software is highly desirable.
