Pharmacy Technician in West Chester, OH

A full-time Pharmacy Technician position is available at a retail pharmacy in West Chester, Ohio. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a stable, engaging role supporting pharmacy operations in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 1st shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in serving patients and managing the pharmacy department efficiently.
• Greet customers, address inquiries, and provide excellent service.
• Receive and verify prescription validity.
• Process prescriptions electronically, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims promptly.
• Select, measure, and prepare medications to fill prescriptions safely.
• Sort, stock, label medications, and monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal supply.

Qualifications:

• Current Pharmacy Technician license issued by the state of Ohio.
• Experience working in retail or a similar pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is highly advantageous.
