Pharmacy Technician | West Chester, Ohio

A retail pharmacy technician opportunity is available on a 13-week contract to hire basis in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. This position offers a structured schedule focused on supporting daily pharmacy operations while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient data and prescription orders into pharmacy computer systems.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
• Monitor and manage over-the-counter (OTC) inventory levels to maintain adequate stock.
• Provide attentive and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.
• Collaborate with third-party prescription plans to address adjudication issues and expedite prescription processing.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear pharmacy technician license valid in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of one year of retail pharmacy technician experience.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is advantageous.
