Pharmacy Technician - West Chester, Ohio

This opportunity seeks a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support retail pharmacy operations in West Chester, OH, on a contract-to-hire basis. The role offers a 13-week assignment with the potential for permanent placement, working primarily first shift hours.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Monitor and order over-the-counter inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their pharmacy needs.
• Work with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues, facilitating smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Ohio.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is advantageous.
