Pharmacy Technician in West Chester, OH

A pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a 13-week contract starting June 14 in West Chester, OH. This role involves supporting inpatient pharmacy operations with a focus on accuracy and patient safety in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Schedule:

• Two shifts every other weekend, 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM
• Overnight shifts Monday through Thursday, 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
• Assist with IV admixture and sterile preparations (IV experience a plus)
• Utilize Cerner EMR for medication order entry and verification
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication management

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of one year recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience required
• Current Ohio pharmacy technician license
• National certification as a pharmacy technician
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
