Pharmacy Technician in West Chester, PA

An outpatient pharmacy technician role is available for local candidates with retail experience and required certification. The position is a contract-to-hire opportunity at a healthcare facility in Philadelphia, PA, offering a flexible weekday schedule with potential weekend shifts.

Location:

• Philadelphia, PA (800 Spruce Street)

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with flexibility between 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekend shifts may be required, Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately to outpatients
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical supplies
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and assisting with prescriptions
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies
• Accurately process prescription orders and maintain detailed records

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of retail pharmacy technician experience
• Current PTCB/National Certification (required)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including potential weekends
