An immediate opportunity is available for an experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting near Lafayette, IN. This full-time, direct hire position focuses on delivering excellent pharmaceutical support within an inpatient facility, emphasizing accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieve, count, and measure medications accurately to ensure proper dispensing.
  • Assist pharmacists by price-checking and restocking pharmaceuticals.
  • Access, input, and retrieve prescription information using electronic systems.
  • Redirect physician inquiries and medical questions to the pharmacist promptly.
  • Uphold the hospital’s mission and guiding principles in all daily operations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must hold a current Indiana Pharmacy Technician license (no trainees).
  • PTCB certification preferred.
  • Experience with both sterile and non-sterile compounding.
  • Recent inpatient pharmacy technician experience required.
  • Proficient in using Pyxis system; Wellsky experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and commitment to long-term employment.

Location: West Lafayette, Indiana (local candidates only).
