Pharmacy Technician in Westerville, OH

A full-time Retail Pharmacy Technician position is available in Westerville, OH, offering an opportunity for temp-to-perm employment. This role operates primarily on the first shift with set pharmacy hours scheduled as follows: Monday through Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Familiarity with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is highly preferred to support daily operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in serving patients and managing the pharmacy department.
• Greet customers warmly and address their questions with professionalism.
• Receive prescriptions, validate their accuracy, and process them electronically with attention to detail.
• Resolve issues promptly, such as rejected insurance claims.
• Select and measure medication dosages accurately to fill prescriptions.
• Sort, stock, and label medications while monitoring inventory levels to maintain an organized pharmacy environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio.
• Previous retail pharmacy experience or a closely related pharmacy setting preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Pioneer Rx software is a strong advantage.
