Pharmacy Technician | Westerville, Ohio

This full-time Retail Pharmacy Technician role is based in Westerville, Ohio, offering an excellent opportunity to transition from contract to permanent employment. The position supports pharmacy operations with a focus on customer service and accurate prescription processing.

Schedule:

• 1st shift
• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in serving patients and managing the pharmacy department
• Greet customers and respond to their inquiries professionally
• Receive prescriptions and verify their validity
• Process prescriptions electronically, ensuring accuracy and completeness
• Address and resolve issues such as rejected insurance claims promptly
• Select and measure medication dosages for prescription fulfillment
• Sort, stock, label medications, and monitor inventory levels

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy Technician license valid in the state of Ohio is required
• Experience in a retail or similar pharmacy setting is preferred
• Proficiency with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is highly desirable
