Join a dynamic retail pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician in a full-time role based in Westerville, OH. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a positive work environment with a schedule focused on first shift hours.

Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the pharmacist in serving patients and managing pharmacy operations
• Greet customers and respond to inquiries professionally
• Receive and verify prescription validity
• Process electronic prescriptions accurately, ensuring all details are complete
• Address issues such as rejected insurance claims promptly
• Select medications and measure dosages precisely for prescription fulfillment
• Sort, stock, label medications, and monitor inventory to maintain smooth workflow

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio is required
• Previous retail or similar pharmacy experience preferred
• Experience with Pioneer Rx pharmacy software is highly desired
