Pharmacy Technician in Westerville, OH

This opportunity offers a rewarding role for an experienced pharmacy technician in a retail setting, with a contract to hire status. The position is based in Westerville, OH, with planned shifts from Monday to Friday designed to provide a consistent and manageable schedule.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
• Thursday: 8:00 am - 6:30 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am - 2:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions while adhering to safety and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor and replenish OTC inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their inquiries or concerns.
• Collaborate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues, ensuring smooth processing of prescriptions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Must possess a clear and active pharmacy technician license in the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx is advantageous but not required.
