Pharmacy Technician in Westerville, OH

Exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to support a retail pharmacy team on a 13-week contract with potential for permanent placement in Westerville, Ohio. This role centers on delivering exceptional customer service and assisting pharmacists in the efficient processing and dispensing of prescriptions during 1st shift hours.

Schedule:

• Monday–Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient details and prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
• Assist with dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Manage and replenish over-the-counter inventory to maintain sufficient stock.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers addressing their questions and concerns.
• Coordinate with insurance providers to resolve prescription adjudication issues and ensure seamless processing.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license for the state of Ohio.
• Minimum of one year of experience working in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is advantageous but not required.
