Pharmacy Technician in Westerville, OH

A retail pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a 13-week contract-to-perm assignment in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. This role is ideal for experienced technicians licensed in Ohio who are seeking a position with consistent hours and the potential for permanent placement.

Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Schedule:

• Monday to Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  Contract Type: 13-week contract-to-hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Assist pharmacists by preparing and dispensing prescription medications according to standard procedures.
• Manage and order over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their questions and needs.
• Coordinate with third-party prescription plans to resolve adjudication issues to ensure smooth prescription processing.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid and active pharmacy technician license in the state of Ohio is required.
• A minimum of one year of experience working in a retail pharmacy environment.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software is considered a strong advantage.
