A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support a busy retail pharmacy setting. This role involves handling an average inbound prescription volume of 200-300 per day within a team of five pharmacy technicians and two pharmacists. The position offers a contract engagement with the potential for direct hire after 13 weeks.
Location: Westerville, OH
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 13 weeks, temp to direct hire
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process prescription orders and manage order entry using Prime RX software
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing customer service
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
- Support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced retail environment
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience, preferably in retail
- Valid Ohio pharmacy technician license required
- Experience with Prime RX software is highly advantageous
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a collaborative team environment
