Pharmacy Technician in Westerville, OH

A retail pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment handling an average inbound prescription volume of 200-300 scripts per day. This opportunity offers a 13-week contract with potential to transition into a direct hire position, providing stability for candidates looking to grow within a supportive pharmacy team.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and processing prescription orders accurately and efficiently using Prime RX order entry system
• Assisting pharmacists with daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient care
• Managing inventory and pharmacy stock
• Providing excellent customer service in a retail setting
• Adhering to all state and federal pharmacy regulations and company policies

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician, specifically in retail pharmacy settings
• Current and valid Ohio pharmacy technician license
• Familiarity with Prime RX software preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team of 5 technicians and 2 pharmacists

Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Position located in Westerville, OH
