Pharmacy Technician | Whittier, California

An established pharmacy is seeking an experienced home infusion or compounding pharmacy technician to join their growing team in Whittier, CA. This direct hire opportunity requires a candidate with specialized skills in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy environments. Inpatient-only experience will not be considered.

Location:

• Whittier, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday with start times of 8 AM, 9 AM, or 10 AM (flexibility required)
• Rotating weekends
• Hours of operation: 7 days a week, 6 AM to 9 PM

Responsibilities:

• Compounding medications in accordance with proprietary workflow systems
• Communicating regularly with patients and healthcare providers to ensure proper home infusion care and coordination
• Maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards
• Collaborating closely with pharmacy and clinical teams to support patient care

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacy Technician license
• Experience in home infusion or designated compounding pharmacy settings (retail compounding background is a strong match)
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage patient/provider interactions

This role offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $23 to $36, depending on experience and qualifications.
