A retail pharmacy technician position is available for a 13-week contract starting May 4th at a health center pharmacy located in Wichita, KS. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside a pharmacist and an additional technician in a collaborative environment.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform typical pharmacy technician duties including accurate data entry and filling/dispensing prescriptions
- Provide excellent patient service ensuring a positive experience for all customers
- Support pharmacists in daily operations within the retail pharmacy setting
- Utilize Rx30 pharmacy system for order processing and management
Qualifications:
- Valid Kansas Pharmacy Technician License is required
- Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment preferred
- Proficient with pharmacy software systems, ideally Rx30
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting and communicate clearly with patients and staff
