Pharmacy Technician - Wichita, KS

A retail pharmacy within a health center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a 13-week contract position starting May 4th. This role supports pharmacists and fellow technicians in a fast-paced environment, utilizing the Rx30 system to ensure accurate and efficient pharmacy operations.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry accurately into the pharmacy system
• Assist in filling and dispensing prescriptions
• Provide excellent patient service and support pharmacists as needed
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and state regulations

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Kansas Pharmacy Technician license is required
• Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Proficiency using Rx30 pharmacy management software strongly desired
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
