A retail pharmacy technician opportunity is available for a 13-week contract starting May 4th. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional looking to support pharmacy operations within a health center setting.
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Located in Wichita, KS, you will collaborate closely with a pharmacist and an additional technician to ensure smooth pharmacy workflow and excellent patient care. The pharmacy uses Rx30 software, so familiarity with this system is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately entering prescription data and maintaining records
- Assisting with filling and dispensing medications under pharmacist supervision
- Providing exceptional patient service and addressing inquiries professionally
- Adhering to all regulatory and safety guidelines in the pharmacy environment
Qualifications:
- Active Kansas Pharmacy Technician license
- Experience working in retail pharmacy settings preferred
- Knowledge of Rx30 pharmacy system is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to accuracy and patient confidentiality
