Pharmacy Technician in Winterville, NC

A Federally Qualified Health Center is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support their pharmacy operations during a maternity leave period starting in late May. This contract opportunity, lasting approximately 13+ weeks, is based in the Winterville, NC area and offers a Monday through Friday daytime schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately dispensing medications in accordance with prescriptions.
• Managing inventory to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Handling insurance claims and verifications efficiently.
• Providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
• Offering consults and guidance under pharmacist supervision.

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A valid North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license.
• At least one year of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician.
