Pharmacy Technician - Woodridge, IL

Seeking a dedicated sterile compounding technician for the evening shift in a closed-door long-term care facility. This direct hire opportunity requires reliability and strong attendance to support a high-volume pharmacy environment processing roughly 600 prescriptions per day.

Location: Woodridge, IL

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• Rotating every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare intravenous (IV) medications using aseptic techniques that comply with USP 797 standards and other regulatory guidelines
• Perform thorough quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and safety
• Manage pharmacy inventory to maintain necessary stock levels
• Utilize pharmacy software systems (Frameworks familiarity is a plus; training is available)

Qualifications:

• Valid, clear, and active Illinois Pharmacy Technician license
• Proven sterile compounding experience in a pharmacy setting
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to sterility and safety
• Excellent reliability and attendance record
