Pharmacy Technician in Worcester, MA

An urgent opening is available for Pharmacy Technicians at a long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder pharmacy. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in data entry, fulfillment, production, and tote packing. The site recently transitioned to a new pharmacy system and is currently behind in production, requiring immediate support to help stabilize workflow.

Location:

• Worcester, MA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (flexible opening and closing shifts)
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Candidates should be available to work weekdays and assist on weekends as needed.

Contract Details:

• Duration: Approximately 4 to 6 weeks, until workflow stabilizes
• Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry accurately into the pharmacy system
• Assist with medication fulfillment and production tasks
• Pack totes and prepare orders for delivery
• Adapt to various duties as workload demands

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required
• Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred
• Retail pharmacy technician experience also considered for volume support
• Ability to quickly learn and work within the Frameworks pharmacy system
