Pharmacy Technician | Worcester, Massachusetts

Seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support overnight operations in a long-term care (LTC) mail order pharmacy setting. This position offers a unique schedule of working 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM. The role is a 13-week assignment with the potential to transition from temporary to direct hire status.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense medications according to prescriptions and pharmacy protocols.
• Manage inventory and restock medication supplies efficiently during overnight shifts.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication distribution for LTC patients.
• Maintain strict adherence to all regulatory standards and safety guidelines.
• Document all activities thoroughly to support compliance and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License (required).
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) national certification preferred.
• Experience working in a long-term care pharmacy environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and maintain focus.

Schedule:

• Overnight shifts, Wednesday through Thursday.
• 7 days on, 7 days off rotation from 8:30 PM to 5:00 AM.
