Pharmacy Technician - Wyoming, Michigan

This position seeks an experienced Pharmacy Technician to work in a fast-paced retail environment with a contract-to-hire opportunity. The role is based in Wyoming, MI, and involves working primarily daytime shifts with rotating start times to accommodate pharmacy needs.

Location: Wyoming, MI
Schedule / Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 8.5-hour shifts
• Rotating start times at 7:30 am, 8:00 am, 9:30 am, and 11:30 am
• Pharmacy closes at 6 pm on Fridays
• No weekends initially, but weekend shifts will be introduced in the future

Responsibilities:

• Accurately assist pharmacists in dispensing medications to patients
• Use Pioneer RX computer system efficiently for processing prescriptions
• Provide excellent customer service in a retail pharmacy setting
• Maintain organization and inventory control of pharmaceutical supplies
• Adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid Michigan Pharmacy Technician License required
• Previous pharmacy technician experience required
• Retail pharmacy experience highly preferred
• Experience using Pioneer RX computer system is a plus
