Pharmacy Technician in Yonkers, NY

A healthcare facility specializing in long-term care is seeking an experienced Evening Shift Production Pharmacy Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Bardonia, New York. This role focuses on the dosage department within a closed-door LTC setting, handling a high volume of approximately 600 prescriptions daily.

Location: Bardonia, NY
Shift Details:

• Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday, Sunday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Days off: Tuesday and Thursday
• Weekend work is required

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in appropriate packaging formats such as blister packs and unit-dose to ensure timely delivery to residents
• Assist in ordering, receiving, and stocking medications while monitoring for proper storage conditions and expiration dates
• Maintain accurate patient and medication records in compliance with regulatory standards
• Utilize the Frameworks software system (training available) to support pharmacy operations

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
• New York State Pharmacy Technician license preferred but not required
• PTCB certification preferred but not mandatory
• Willingness to work a consistent evening schedule including weekends
