Night Shift Clinical Pharmacist

Join a respected 200-bed acute care hospital seeking two full-time Night Shift Pharmacists to support inpatient pharmacy operations. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists who thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting and enjoy a consistent 7 on / 7 off schedule. Immediate start available with a 13-week contract and potential temp-to-hire pathway.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
• Collaborate with physicians regarding medication selection, dosing, and therapy optimization
• Provide medication education to nursing staff, physicians, and patients
• Monitor patient profiles for drug interactions, allergies, and adverse reactions
• Prepare and verify IV admixtures, compounded medications, and nutritional supplements
• Support narcotic control, documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Promote medication safety initiatives and best practices throughout the facility

Work Hours

• Full-time Night Shift
• 7 on / 7 off rotation
• Wednesday through Tuesday schedule
• Immediate start available

Experience

• Prior inpatient hospital pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Experience with clinical dosing and medication therapy monitoring preferred
• IV admixture and sterile compounding experience preferred
• Strong communication skills with interdisciplinary care teams

Education

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing (Arizona or eligible for reciprocity)
