Inpatient Staff Pharmacist - Albuquerque, NM

An established hospital in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a knowledgeable inpatient overnight pharmacist to provide critical pharmacy services. This contract opportunity offers the chance to apply your inpatient pharmacy skills in a fast-paced hospital environment, supporting patient care across multiple campuses. Licensed pharmacists or those with pending New Mexico licenses expected to be issued within 10 days are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient pharmacy services during the overnight shift, ensuring accurate dispensing and clinical review of medications
• Support pharmacy operations at both Women’s and Westside hospital campuses as needed
• Utilize EMR system EPIC to document and review medication orders and patient information
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes and ensure safe medication use
• Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards throughout all pharmacy activities

Schedule:

• 7 on/7 off schedule
• Overnight shift: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience required
• Montana Pharmacist license preferred; New Mexico license required or license pending with issuance expected within 10 days
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
