Inpatient Staff Pharmacist - Albuquerque, NM

An inpatient pharmacy opportunity is available at a 315-bed hospital in Albuquerque, NM. This contract assignment offers a 13-week duration, beginning March 10, with a shift schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, including every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications for inpatient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient medication therapy.
• Monitor patient drug therapies and adjust as necessary within the scope of practice.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and pharmacy laws.
• Participate in medication reconciliation and patient education.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active New Mexico pharmacy license required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations, drug utilization, and hospital formularies.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Schedule:

• Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Every other weekend
