A dedicated professional is sought to fill the role of a Night Shift Pharmacist at a well-established healthcare facility. This position offers the opportunity to provide vital pharmaceutical care during the overnight hours, ensuring patient safety and optimal medication management.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurately dispensing prescription medications in accordance with legal regulations and clinical guidelines.
• Reviewing prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
• Consulting with healthcare providers and patients to offer expert pharmaceutical advice.
• Managing inventory and ensuring all medications are stored properly and securely.
• Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy services.
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all pharmacy activities in compliance with organizational policies.
• Responding promptly to emergencies and urgent medication needs during night hours.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid and active Pharmacist license in the state of California.
• Proven experience as a Staff Pharmacist, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals, medication therapy management, and patient safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high levels of accuracy and professionalism.
