A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 250-bed hospital in Redding, California, offering a dynamic role in a hospital pharmacy setting. This position provides flexible scheduling options to accommodate your preferred work style.

Schedule: • Choose between four 10-hour shifts per week or a 7-on, 7-off schedule • Day and afternoon shifts available

Responsibilities: • Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently • Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow • Collaborate and consult with physicians and nurses on medication management • Manage pharmacokinetics and support advanced patient care initiatives • Utilize IT systems including Cerner and Omnicell to manage pharmacy operations

Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Valid California pharmacist license required • Experience in hospital pharmacy, particularly with order verification and clinical collaboration • Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell systems preferred • Strong communication skills and ability to supervise pharmacy staff • Positive attitude and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment • PGY1 residency preferred but not mandatory • Interest in travel assignments and flexible on compensation expectations
