Opportunity for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to support a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy with a strong emphasis on clinical excellence and patient care. This per diem position offers a stable weekday schedule with no holidays or weekend shifts, ideal for professionals seeking flexibility during regular business hours.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (lunch 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
  • Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (lunch 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
  • Dates: January 29 and January 30

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare drugs and prescription orders accurately for collection or delivery.
  • Oversee inventory control and ordering of equipment and supplies.
  • Apply best practice protocols for storing prescription drugs and controlled substances.
  • Verify prescription details in collaboration with prescribing healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain approved drug and controlled substances lists, ensuring compliance with expiry dates.
  • Monitor pharmacy appearance, product displays, and shelf organization.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Maintain accurate records, including patient information and insurance claims.
  • Support retail pharmacy operations and provide telepharmacy assistance.
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to assess and meet pharmacy staffing needs.
  • Ensure pharmacy services comply with all state and federal regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Indiana Pharmacist license (verified).
  • Immunization license.
  • Submission of resume, skills checklist, and references required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Liberty RX pharmacy software is advantageous.
