Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Andover, Kansas

An opportunity is available for a Per Diem Staff Pharmacist to support a community retail pharmacy team in Wichita, KS. This position offers semi-regular shifts with manageable prescription volume and dedicated technician support, allowing you to focus on excellent patient care.

Location:

• Wichita, KS (with flexible travel arrangements for candidates residing over 75 miles away)

Schedule:

• Semi-regular shifts, including upcoming coverage on:
  • Wednesday, 5/27, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Thursday, 5/28, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and team members to deliver exceptional patient service
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and provide medication counseling as needed
• Utilize Rx30 software for prescription processing and documentation
• Manage an average daily prescription volume of 100-125 with strong support staff assistance

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Kansas Pharmacist License in good standing, with no disciplinary actions
• Experience working in community retail pharmacy settings preferred
• Proficiency in pharmacy software, specifically Rx30, is a plus
• Ability to work independently during assigned shifts with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to support patient interactions
