This per diem opportunity is ideal for experienced pharmacists interested in flexible shifts within a retail pharmacy setting. You will play a vital role in supporting a community pharmacy team in Wichita, KS, providing exceptional medication dispensing and patient care.
Location: Wichita, KS
Schedule: Per diem, semi-regular shifts—examples include:
- Wednesday 5/27, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Thursday 5/28, 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications with attention to quality and safety
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow
- Provide patient counseling and answer medication-related questions
- Utilize Rx30 pharmacy software for prescription processing and documentation
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active, unrestricted Kansas pharmacist license with a clean disciplinary record
- Proven experience as a retail pharmacist with the ability to manage 100-125 prescriptions daily
- Strong skills in patient communication and attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a pharmacy team
- Familiarity with Rx30 software is a plus
