Staff Pharmacist in Angoon, AK

This opportunity engages a licensed Staff Pharmacist to contribute to patient care within a hospital pharmacy setting in Alaska. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with federal and state regulations
• Provide patient counseling and drug education

Qualifications and Experience:

• Pharm.D. degree with current Alaska pharmacist licensure; Bachelor of Pharmacy with 3+ years hospital or ambulatory clinic experience considered for licenses prior to 2003
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
• Completion of an ASHP-accredited pharmacy residency program preferred
• Hospital pharmacy experience required
• Must have valid Alaska license at start
• Flu vaccination required
