Mail Order Pharmacist

We're seeking an experienced Pharmacist for a full-time, 13-week contract with an established mail-order specialty pharmacy located just outside Nashville. If you thrive in a high-volume environment and are looking for a weekday schedule with no on-call responsibilities, this is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact with a Fortune 500 company!

Responsibilities:

• Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2)
• Complete final prescription verification prior to dispensing
• Verify correct medication, strength, quantity, labeling, and directions
• Ensure prescription information matches the original hard copy
• Maintain accuracy and compliance in a high-volume mail-order pharmacy
• Utilize the WellSky pharmacy management system
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient safety

Requirements:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist license in good standing
• 2–3 years of recent high-volume pharmacist experience
• Mail order, specialty, or retail pharmacy experience
• Experience performing final verification of prescriptions
• Experience using pharmacy software systems (WellSky experience is a plus)
• Positive attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness to accept a temporary assignment
• Ability to start ASAP
