A remote position is available for an experienced Staff Pharmacist to manage high-volume pharmacy operations. This contract opportunity spans 12 to 13 weeks with specific start dates, offering a chance to leverage your expertise while working from a dedicated home workspace.
Location: Remote (Must hold a clear and active Florida pharmacist license)
Contract Duration: 12-13 weeks
Start Dates: April 13, April 27, May 11, May 25
Schedule/Hours:
- 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM (flexible hours due to business needs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify up to 70 prescriptions per hour with accuracy (Data Verification/PV1)
- Provide thorough patient counseling regarding medication use and adverse events
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care
Desired Qualifications:
- Active, clear Florida pharmacist license required
- Experience working in retail pharmacies with high-volume prescription processing
- Strong ability to work efficiently and accurately under time constraints
- Access to a high-speed internet connection of at least 500 Mbps
- A dedicated and distraction-free workspace suitable for remote work
